Dotmount Communications signs deal with Abu Dhabi Media

The leading public media services company in the UAE, Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC), has signed a media cooperation contract with Dotmount Communications, a worldwide provider of media research, media content distribution, to enhance joint cooperation in news exchange as part of ADMC’s strategy to build strong partnerships with prominent international media groups and establish an advanced, sustainable model for professional cooperation.

Under the agreement, signed by Her Excellency Maryam Eid AlMheir, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Media, and Dotmount Communications President Adedotun Olaoluwa, Abu Dhabi Media will provide news content to Dotmount Communications in English and other languages for purposes of use and distribution on its media platforms and through those of its partners around the world.

The agreement also provides for holding joint training programmes for editors, journalists and technicians with the aim of exchanging experiences and sharpening their skills.

Commenting on the agreement, Her Excellency Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Media, stated that the signing of the agreement with Dotmount Communications came as a result of the company’s aims to be an active participant in sustainable development business processes in all areas.

”Through this cooperation with the Dotmount Communications, we look forward to establishing a developed and sustainable model of constructive cooperation, in a way that contributes to enriching the media system in the gulf and also works to highlight the development and progress witnessed by the UAE at various levels.”

AlMheiri added that the Abu Dhabi Media boasts of a career full of professional achievements, and this agreement will contribute to strengthening media cooperation between the two sides and exploring new avenues of joint work.
For his part, Adedotun Olaoluwa expressed his happiness at signing this agreement with the Abu Dhabi Media, based on the continued keenness to unify efforts and enhance cooperation with other local media institutions that enjoy a distinguished position and great experience in this field.

Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC), is the largest and most diversified media group in the Arab world. It enjoys some editorial and administrative independence. Its dependence on government and federal funding through the Ministry of Information and Culture since 1999 was scrapped in February of 2006.

Dotmount Communications has been one of the largest lobbying and communication firms in the world for years and has quickly become one of the largest in news content distributions in the world with access to over 8,000 media platforms, in 40+ languages since it expanded its operation after the election of former President Donald Trump.
In early 2019, the firm opened a public relations branch in Washington to provide media relations and public affairs counsel in addition to lobbying services.

It has expanded its footprint in recent years, most recently by acquiring 7.5% shares in Gannett Corporation, a firm with over 100 newspapers and 43 tv stations across the United States.
